MEET PDG MICHEAL

As the last District Governor of 13E Micheal's theme and efforts were about service, Moving Forward and Embracing Change, his logo of a train continuing on its journey but along a slightly different route, stopping at some new stations to let off some old baggage, opening its doors to pick up new passengers, new ideas, new processes. This analogy is still timely. We are still journeying to new stations with faces old and new, trying new ways of doing things, new projects, new focuses, locally and internationally.

So, the Second Century Lions, the conductors of this journey, what do they look like? Well? Lion Micheal Gibbs!

A mix of both old and new he's dedicated, has a fresh perspective and is very flexible (some may use words like "out of the box" of "unconventional" and he finds those compliments). Micheal is committed and well trained through ELLI, ALLI, FDI, Lions University, he has completed every course on the LCI Learning Center, and participates in each new webinar that’s presented. He is very respectful of the "old", but is ready and able to embrace the "new". Lion Micheal is mindful of the journey MD 13 Ohio Lions has taken so far, but cognizant of the distance yet to go. Again-those of you who know him well, know travel planning is another strength.

As a Lion who works tirelessly locally but also has connections, interests and friends on a global level. Lion Micheal always works in the best interest of Lionism as he leads Lions Serving our community.

PDG Micheal has also tried hard to "put his money where his mouth is". Never asking any Lion to do something he wouldn't, nor support something he hasn't. As a 10th level Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow it’s clear Micheal believes in LCIF's goals and objectives. Having Jim and Betty Coffey Fellowships and a Dick Bryan Fellowship it’s known he supports OLF and OLERF. He is an active supporter and Life member of Pilot Dogs. Lion Micheal has been recognized by Lions Clubs International as Ohio's only Second Century Ambassador for his commitment to the association. He understands well the sacrifice each Lion goes through to support all that it is we ask of them. It hasn't always been easy, but Micheal is committed to supporting our work as Lions to the highest level he can.

Lion Micheal asks you to join him as we embark on the Second Century of Lionism serving our communities.

WE SERVE!!!
